One month into his ‘To The Sea’ tour in support of the album of the same name, Jack Johnson is going strong.
Through the end of the month Jack Johnson tickets are available for Aug. 20 at the Lakewood Amphitheatre in Atlanta; Aug. 21 at the Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion at Walnut Creek in Raleigh; Aug. 22 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Charlotte; Aug. 24 at the Amway Arena in Orlando; Aug. 25 at the Ford Amphitheatre in Tampa Bay; and Aug. 26 at the Sound Advice Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach.
Opening acts ALO, G. Love and Paula Fuga will be joining Jack Johnson for various tour dates, and it always pays to get there early because they like to kick things off early with a little informal playing.

Jack Johnson, the Dave Matthews Band, U2, Lady Antebellum and Ben Harper are showing fans that it’s cool to go green by partnering with Brita’s FilterForGood Campaign to reduce the number of plastic water bottles.
The program urges concertgoers to bring their own reusable water bottle or buy one of the provided compostable corn-made cups instead of using plastic water bottles.
“Being someone who spends a lot of time in the ocean I see firsthand the amount of plastic that washes up on our shores. A solution we can all make is to reduce our dependence on single use plastics. I’m happy to be teaming up with Brita to bring water stations to every show on my US tour and encourage people to use alternatives to single use plastic water bottles,” Johnson told EarthTimes.org.

Jack Johnson, in his efforts for a greener planet, is looking for volunteers to help out on his tour this summer. Partnering with All At Once, “a social action network in which members discuss issues and events, explore non-profit groups, and take action to make positive change in your local and world community,” Johnson’s tour will be hosting the All At Once Village Green at each show.
Each show’s Village Green will provide a catalyst for raising money, awareness and education in support for a local non-profit organization, depending on the city. Volunteers will be working towards increasing the sustainability of the event, and encouraging fans to recycle and choose free refillable water stations, not bottled water. (Read More…)

Jack Johnson tickets are now available for his recently announced ‘To the Sea’ tour in support of his upcoming album of the same name!
“To the Sea” is Johnson’s fifth studio album and the first one to be released by his own label, Brushfire Records. The album is scheduled for released on June 1, though his tour will begin in April when he headlines the Byron Bay Blues and Roots Festival in Australia, followed by the Kokua Festival in Hawaii.
The North American leg of his tour begins July 9 and wraps up after two nights at the Santa Barbara Bowl on Oct. 13 and 14. Some highlights of the “To the Sea” tour include stops at Madison Square Garden and at the Hollywood Bowl.

It’s definitely a win-win siuation: you get a free song off the new release, and Jack Johnson gets good publicity for his upcoming live album and film En Concert, due in stores October 27th.
En Concert, film and album, cover live performances and life on the road from Jack’s 2008 tour in Europe. The album also features cuts from other special musical moments, including being onstage with Eddie Vedder at Bonnaroo, and a solo closing song at Red Rocks.
